Information for Macromedia Flash Formats

To enable the correct tracking and transfer to your required landing page within the Best Flights Ad serving system a Flash ActionScript 'expression' is required to track a single click event within flash.

Expressions will work with loadMovie and getURL events however will not work with Load Frame actions, as they are internal events and do not call for anything outside of the swf file.

The following ActionScript expression is required:

on (press) {
getURL("http://www.bestflights.com.au/cgi-bin/adrotation/click.cgi?id=xx", "_blank");
}

The xx identification information will be supplied to you when your advert is ready to run its campaign. Your design team needs to implement this in your advert banner and then compile the banner to send through to Best Flights for testing and serving.

STEP ONE

Open your advert flash .fla file or the pre-compiled swf file.
