Mont Blanc Circuit

Day 1 Les Bossons

Arrive in Les Bossons and breathe in the fresh air and allure of Mont Blanc - a sign of the beauty to come.

Day 2 Les Frasserands

Tackle the Grand Balcon trail and walk through intoxicating vistas to the heights of Lac Blanc. Descend to Les Frasserands and sleep surrounded by mountains.

Day 3 Trient

Walk from France into Switzerland through steep mountain passes and past cerulean glaciers.

Day 4 Champex

Climb to the Col de Forclaz for captivating views of the Rhone Valley. Follow alpine pastures to beguiling Champex.

Day 5 La Fouly

Descend through woodlands and picturesque alpine villages, marvelling at the fields of flowers that greet passers-by. Continue on to the point where France, Switzerland and Italy meet.

Days 6-7 Planpincieux

Follow the Val Ferret valley into Italy, ascending the highest point of the trek, Grand Col Ferret. Spend a free day exploring the old towns of Courmayeur or Entreves, or go on an invigorating excursion across the glacier to Aiguille du Midi.

Day 8 Courmayeur

Encounter spectacular views of mountains, glaciers and rocky peaks while walking through wildflower laden landscapes.

Day 9 Les Chapieux

Pass beneath the impressive glacier du Miage and follow an ancient Roman road across Col de la Seigne back into France.

Days 10-11 Val Montjoie

Ascend steeply to the Col de la Croix du Bonhomme, around to the Col du Bonhomme before descending into the Val Montjoie. Perhaps spend a free day visiting Les Contamines's market or rest weary legs in a cafe.

Day 12 Chamonix Valley

Traverse through peaks and valleys to the Chamonix Valley, taking in captivating views of Mont Blanc massif and spending the night in the idyllic alpine village of Les Houches.

Days 13-15 Les Bossons

Clamber through forest to reach Brevent, which rewards unparalleled panoramic views of the area. Spend free time exploring trails around Chamonix, canyoning or taking a different approach to seeing the area on a mountain bike. Toast an amazing achievement with new friends before saying farewell to this adventure of a lifetime.
