- Day 1 Arrive Casablanca
Arrive in Casablanca at any time. - Day 2 Rabat, Meknes, Volubilis, Fez (B)
Travel to Morocco's capital, Rabat, exploring sites such as the Mohamed V mausoleum, the Hassan Tower and the Chellah Gardens. The Roman ruins of Volubilis are simply magnificent and a reminder of the time Rome held sway in this region. Marvellous Meknes was once the centre of the sultans' world. Find out why with a visit to the Royal Granaries, Stables and the magnificent Bab Mansour, the main gate to this imperial city. - Day 3 Fez (B)
Nowhere else in Morocco has the unique feel of Fez. Explore the fascinating maze of alleyways in the medina (old city), and discover in its various quarters the tanneries, dyers, leatherwork, brass, gold and silver works. For a taste of imperial Fez, don't miss the chance to dine at one of the city's exquisitely converted mansion homes. - Day 4 Erfoud, Merzouga (B,D)
Journey over the Middle Atlas Mountains, past cedar forests and through the ski resort of Ifrane, into the desert regions. Continue through the vast palm groves of the Ziz Valley and the majestic sand dunes - all in one day! - Day 5 Todra Gorge, Tinghir, Boumalne (B,D)
Embrace the rising sun from the highest sand dunes in Morocco. Journey through a stone desert to the superb Todra Gorge and visit the Tineghir palm grove. We conclude our unforgettable day in Boumalne du Dades for a well-deserved rest and dinner. - Day 6 Dades Gorge, Ouazazate, Aït Benhaddou (B,D)
Visit the impressive Dades Gorge and follow the "Route of a Thousand Kasbahs" into the verdant Dades Valley en route to Ouarzazate and the Taourirt kasbah. Enjoy an optional visit to the Atlas film studios, before travelling to the village of Aït Benhaddou to explore the famous Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. - Day 7 Marrakech (B)
Head through the Tizi n’Tichka pass at 2200m in the High Atlas Mountains, with breathtaking views over the highest peaks of Morocco. Experience the extensive and crowded souks and the famous Djemaa el Fna Square with its acrobats, fortune tellers, story tellers and snake charmers. - Day 8 Marrakech (B,D)
Enjoy a tour of this historic city to explore the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs and the Koutoubia Minaret. In the afternoon, take an optional visit to the Terre des Jeunes Marrakech project, a local NGO providing opportunities to the youth of the city, or stroll around the bustling markets for last minute treasures. - Day 9 Depart Marrakech (B)
