- Day 1 Arrive Cape Town
Arrive in Cape Town at any time. - Day 2-3 Lambert's Bay / Gariep River (2B)
We visit the picturesque Lambert's Bay area on the west coast before we travel north and cross into Namibia. Relax, have a swim or take a ride down the river in a canoe at the scenic Gariep River. - Day 4 Fish River Canyon/Seeheim Area (B)
Take in the majestic beauty of the Fish River Canyon, the largest canyon in Africa. Enjoy lunch in the area and continue on to the village of Seeheim. - Day 5-6 Namib Desert (2B,D)
Climb the mighty Dune 45 and reach the top just before the sunrise. As the dunes start to be covered by dark blue shadows it is just a big, - silent - 'wow', leaving you speechless. We will then visit the scenic Sesriem Canyon, and have a guided walk at Sossusvlei - a clay pan, enclosed by the world’s largest sand dunes, up to 300m high! - Day 7-8 Swakopmund (B)
Explore Swakopmund’s historical town, the surrounding lunar landscape, or try some of the numerous activities available, such as sand boarding, a dolphin cruise, sky diving, quad biking, or a Living Desert Tour – there's something for everyone. - Day 9 Otjiwarongo
We stop to have a look at the famous Spitzkoppe, or the "Matterhorn of Namibia", a group of bald granite peaks 700 million years old, on our way through the beautiful desert landscape. - Day 10-11 Etosha National Park (B)
As one of Africa’s highlights, the Etosha National Park offers a variety of wildlife and phenomenal natural beauty. Explore the pans and the park on game drives, with excellent opportunities to spot lion, giraffe, elephant, rhino, and antelope. - Day 12 Windhoek
Enjoy one last morning game drive in search of the "Big 5", and begin moving south to the capital of Namibia. Drive through Windhoek and visit one of many handicraft markets. - Day 13 Greater Kalahari (Gobabis) (B)
Get a glimpse of how the San adapted to the Kalahari Desert. Learn fascinating wilderness survival skills by local Bushmen on this optional walk – one of the highlights of this tour! - Day 14-16 Okavango Delta (3B,2L,2D)
Today we cross the border into Botswana and stay one night in Maun and get prepared for our 2 night/3 day journey into the "Delta". The Okavango Delta Excursion is an experience not to be missed. While based at a bush camp within the world's largest inland delta, enjoy game walks and traditional mokoro (dug-out canoe) excursions, and learn the ways of the bush from your local polers. This is truly an African experience! - Day 17-18 Gweta / Chobe Area (2B,D)
Wake up to the African sun rising over the beauty of the Delta, before heading east to Gweta. Enjoy your "potjiekos" cooking competition in Gweta before we journey to the Chobe area the next morning. The best way to appreciate Botswana's largest national park and its thousands of resident elephants, crocodiles, and hippos, is on a sunset boat cruise on the Chobe River. - Day 19 Livingstone, Zambia (B)
Explore the breathtaking Victoria Falls, a natural wonder of the world. Adventure activities abound - go white-water rafting or canoeing on the Zambezi, take an elephant-back safari, or even fly over the falls for some fantastic views. - Day 20 Depart Livingstone (B)
